18 / Glaze results

This time round, I was incredibly happy getting my glaze results back!

The colours and textures were exactly how I hoped they would turn out – I especially love the craters and noticed they appear where both glazes were heavily layered.

This means once my vessel pieces are fired I can use these two glazes and plan to apply them quite thickly.

Once safety transported to the studios I then experimented different ways in which to combine the pieces with foliage.

I really like the results as the foliage complemented the ceramics quote well, they looked natural rather than out of place.      This means I’ll  definitely consider continuing to incorporate foliage with the bigger ceramic vessels, though this will depend on how they appear once glazed, etc.
